How UpChoose Works

UpChoose works by size. For a monthly fee, you get to use a set of organic baby clothes in the size you need and can swap them for the next size up when you're ready. By default, your next set is scheduled in three months but you can easily reschedule it from your Timeline if you need it sooner.

Your monthly fee includes insurance so you are never charged extra for stains and damages.

Yes, absolutely. We suggest keeping 1 or 2 items from your set and the cost on average would be $10 or 15 per item. The pricing depends on how long you have rented a set and what items you keep.

If you pick New, you only get brand new items that we directly received from our partner brands, and you are the first one to use them. If you pick Preloved, you receive items gently-used by other UpChoose members. Each piece is inspected and cleaned by our team to ensure good condition.

We curate adorable organic clothes from the most sustainable brands selected based on an in-depth assessment, including Under The Nile, Finn + Emma, Kate Quinn Organics, Colored Organics, Burt's Bees Baby, L'ovedbaby, Hanna Andersson, Monica & Andy and more.

Yes, all the clothes inside the UpChoose set come from premium brands that only use 100% organic cotton and are certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers.

Yes. When you take the style quiz and design your set, you pick the main options (like size, season, style, and condition). Then, you can confirm your selection or customize your set further. You can add preferences like colors to favor or exclude, more long or short sleeves, zippers, or snaps.

UpChoose members often end up paying up to 70-80% less than the retail value of the premium organic cotton brands they receive. Thanks to the return system, we can create preloved sets that the next family can enjoy. As a result, we can charge everyone a lower monthly fee and make organic baby clothes more accessible to all parents.

It is free of harmful chemicals often found in non-organic clothing. Babies have more sensitive skin than adults.

We use natural, fragrance-free cleaning products from companies like Biokleen for in-house washing in between cycles. We also support our members with recommendations on what to use.

You are renting the clothing sets for the time the size fits, and then swapping for the next size up!

Yes! We are fully flexible for you and you can switch plans (for example switching styles, or moving from New to Preloved) when you swap from one size to the next.

We swap entire sets, from one size to the next. Our Concierge team can assist you if you need to adjust your set or swap outfits for a specific reason.

You are charged each month while you are using UpChoose. The monthly pricing model is more flexible for you and often leads to bigger savings. For example, if you outgrow a size in only one month, you only pay one monthly fee for that size, which means much higher savings compared to the retail value of the items you received.

We have designed the swap process to be as seamless for you as possible. First, you always receive the next size first, so you’re never out of clothes. You’ll receive the next set at the swap date you confirmed. It will arrive in a reusable mailer with a prepaid return label included. You take the new set out of the mailer and put the old one in it. You have about a week to ship it back using the mailer and prepaid return label provided. That’s it!

It’s hard to predict how fast a baby will grow! This is why UpChoose gives you full flexibility. You can size up anytime, whether it is after a few weeks or a few months!

Each set includes a selection of organic baby clothing curated from premium brands. We currently offer three different sets: The Mini, The Standard, and The Full Set. The Mini has 12 items and includes a selection of bodysuits, onepieces, and pants. The Standard has 22 items and includes a selection of bodysuits, onepieces, pants, hats, and bibs. The Full Set has 55 items and includes both clothing (bodysuits, onepieces, pants) as well as accessories (hats, bibs, blankets, cloths, towels).

You always receive the next size first, in a reusable mailer that includes a prepaid return label. You can drop it at the post office or schedule a free USPS pick-up.
